This morning
we were treated to a delicious “MacSimons” bacon, egg, cheese Mac-muffin with a
hash brown. This is Lesley’s (Simons) Saturday breakfast tradition. There we
were, all gathered around the very expensive Italian antique table enjoying our
breakfast thanks to Lesley. We needed a hearty breakfast because we were
heading off to the famous Eumundi markets. We (especially the girls) thoroughly
enjoyed exploring the myriad of different stalls and shops selling all sorts of
things. The boys (Rob and Trev) did pretty well hanging in until after morning coffee
break. They retreated to the car and left us girls to finish the markets on our
own. A few items may have been purchased! Returning to our beautiful
accommodation for lunch, the girls headed out again to a nearby shopping centre
to do a little more exploring of the shops and some grocery shopping. Rob and
Trevor stayed back at the home on this occasion. We finished the day with a
lovely BBQ. Rob had been busy in the afternoon taking photos and writing a very
apt description of our current situation so he can add that in here!
Hi, we free
camp from time to time, that is stay somewhere in the caravan which has no
or little cost. But we have never stayed in a free camp like this one!
Our friend
Lesley, has a cousin who is a doctor, who had this 3 level 4 bedroom home built
on 40 acres he owns. The home is 8 years old with every automated feature you
can imagine, including a lift.
Thought you
might like a peek.
PS the owner
is away, and Lesley is house sitting, which makes us squatters I suppose.
